So, this thread is both a news announcement and a request. First the news. The RPG system in the works is nearly complete. It only needs some final touches, and the writing of the manual. The manual will be big though, so it may take some time to complete. But the hard part is over, now is just manual labor Now, the request. The system needs a name. So, i'm creating this thread here so you can all make suggestions on what you think it would be a good name for it. This is very important, and we need all the suggestions you can make to baptize our new system. I'm counting on you, onegaishimasu!

Of course! My, how silly of me, why didn't I think about that? The current version of the system is in this forum. jorgebonafe2.proboards80.com/index.cgiThe programing is nearly complete, just click character and you can create characters. The manual is under construction on the "manual" board.

Shouldn't it be of equal or greater value, instead of equal or lesser??
Otherwise, your examples of Hitting someone close to you with an arrow granting a +3 to say, a 12, would make you miss, not hit.
And smoke in your eyes?
Makes it easier, a -2 does.

Its equal or lesser. The +2 bonus is for the chance of hitting, not the dice result...
Like, the Chance of hitting with a bow is 13, so you must get 13 or less with the dice. with a +3 bonus, the chance of hitting is 13+3, 16, then you must get 16 or less in three dice. The smoke thing, with a -2 penalty, the chance of hitting would be 13-2, 11, so, harder. (I probably should explain that better on the manual, I'll make it clearer)
The reason for the system to be like this, using smaller dice values instead of greater, is that the char can spend a lot of points in the skill and get really good at it, like having 25 roll on it. In this case, only a critical failure would mean a failure. It would be impossible to do it if you should get dice values equal or greater, unless the skills actually got negative rolls, which would be really confusing.
