ryuushinArcanine may not have the best SpDef, but no one will doubt about it's great Hp... Though, in addition it's unwise to compare a real legendary pokemon (Mewtwo), with a normal pokemon that dubbed as "Legendary Pokemon" (See Pokedex entry for Arcanine)... EricYeah, you may call that hidden... The truth is, you need to breed two Pikachus with one of them holding item "Light Ball" (Effect: Doubles the Attack and Special Attack of a Pikachu), and the egg (Pichu Inside) learns Volt Tackle as egg-move... Well that's the way to have Volt Tackle Pikachu, simply evolve that hatched Pichu into Pikachu (Happiness Evolution)

while it is true that it has great hp, it still might not succeed in surviving, and if so, mewtwo or another would come with the finisher next turn. but your right, you can't compare legendary to legendary by title

Well... That's it...
Mewtwo have 680 in the total BASE Stat...
While Arcanine have only 555 in the BASE Stat...
Although 555 is an incredible number for a non-legendary pokemon (The one who have better stat is only Tyranitar, Salamence, Dragonite and Garchomp with 600), But still, 555 is far less than 680...

true, but 555 is a great number for any pokemon, but still, all in all, through so many new pokemon games, mewtwo still was the most useful to me...

Well people's fave is not always decided on strongness, it might due to cuteness, coolness, toughness, smartness, etc...
What if someone said "My fav poke is magikarp"

Then there is two options: 1) You're a stupid idiot (since magikarp is neither cute, cool, strong, fast, or any other thing that could be considered positive..... heck, it doesn't even have anything negative to talk about!) 2) You're the magikarp salesman, who trickes ppl to pay loads of money for a worthless pokemon (who according to him breeds like hell....so you would have a heap of junk in no time at all )

Well... Magikarp is not delicious, you know...
It's body only contains bone, so it's very very hard... And impossible to eat...

considering it will evolve into gyarados, it has some value, so just spend a ginormous sum of money on magikarp, then even more so on rare candy, et voila, you have a kick-ass dragon type

Yeah... It should be Water/Dragon instead of Water/Flying... What's the proof about Water/Flying for Gyarados? It can't use Fly, Aerial Ace, or even things cheap like Wing Attack... The only Flying move it can is Gust, that is not signatured by birds, instead things that definitely can't fly like Suicune learns it... It can use Surf, Waterfall and many more, so it's a complete Water Pokemon... While it can learn Dragon Dance, it's definitely a Dragon Pokemon... So Gyarados is Dragon-race-but-not-dragon-pokemon... Together with Tyranitar and Charizard... The reason why the GameFreak don't give Dragon/Water typing for this pokemon might because of no weakness in the First Generation (Red/Blue/Yellow), Remember the only weakness for Dragon/Water is Dragon and there's no Dragon Move other than Dragon Rage at that time, and Dragon Rage is always gives 40 Damage regardless of opponent's typing...

gyrados is weird... but it can own most normal pokemons with the right training, moveset, and some other factors, but i don't really know if it can own other legends beside fire-types, like moltres, entei, hooh, ah, and groudon too...

yeh, but I think one condition is defeating and not capturing red gyarados so you can get it, at least, that's how it always happened with me, I always accidentally over kill gyarados xD
